Role Description The Shift Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Adhira & Appa Coffee in Indore Tehsil. This role oversees daily café operations during assigned shifts, including supervising team members, managing workflow, and ensuring high standards of service and product quality. The Shift Manager monitors inventory levels, coordinates with the kitchen and barista teams, handles cash management and basic reporting, and supports opening or closing procedures. The role also involves resolving guest concerns, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and reinforcing company policies and brand values. The Shift Manager actively coaches team members, fosters a positive work culture, and helps create a welcoming space for all guests.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team supervision abilities, with experience guiding staff during busy shifts.
- Customer service and communication skills to create welcoming guest experiences and handle feedback effectively.
- Basic operational and administrative skills, including cash handling, shift reporting, and inventory monitoring.
- Ability to work on-site in Indore Tehsil, with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Experience in café, restaurant, or retail environments is preferred; familiarity with coffee or food service is an advantage.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks, manage time, and respond to operational issues calmly.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and inclusive environment for guests and team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or management is a plus.
