- review Departmental performance w. r .t business plan once in a month.
- To plan activities in a cost-effective way.
- To review customer requirements and evaluate any need of up gradation,
- To study customer complaints and plan preventive action,
- To plan Manpower resources.
- To upgrade equipment.
- To Control the Departmental total cost within the budgeted norms.
- To maintain work discipline all levels.
- To monitor outside rolling.
- To increases mill utilization, reduce all consumption and cobbles.
- To adhere to systems.
- To check spare parts availability & maintain mill spares.
- To arrange furnace repairs.
- To attend technical problem in the mills.
- To take up all safety related jobs and housekeeping.
