The role is suitable for candidates from diverse industries such as Manufacturing, Chemicals, Pharma, FMCG, Engineering Services, Infrastructure, Utilities, and Energy.
What’s the role?
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute data cleansing, harmonisation, enrichment, and validation activities for Service, Vendor, and Contract master data as part of SAP ERP legacy to S4/HANA migration programs.
- Manage end-to-end master data lifecycle: creation, maintenance, quality checks, governance, and readiness for cutover.
- Translate procurement and supply chain business requirements into fit-for-purpose master data structures that enable sourcing, contracting, purchasing, invoicing, and compliance.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Contracting, Finance, Legal, Operations, IT, and System Integrators to ensure data accuracy and business usability.
- Apply a process-driven and data-centric mindset to identify how master data enables spend control, supplier performance, compliance, and operational execution.
- Support project governance including scope clarity, milestone tracking, issue and risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure adherence to Data Quality Standards (DQS), validation rules, naming conventions, taxonomies, and reference data models.
- Identify data risks, dependencies, and gaps; proactively mitigate issues impacting procurement or contract execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as data deduplication, standardisation, root cause analysis of defects, and process simplification.
What we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Industry experience beyond Oil & Gas is strongly encouraged (Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharma, Chemicals, Utilities, Infrastructure).
- 4–8 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Migration, or Data Readiness roles supporting ERP / SAP programs.
- Hands-on experience with Vendor Master, Service Master / Service Catalogs, and Contract / Pricing master data.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Experience in SAP ERP and/or SAP S4/HANA; exposure to MDG, data migration tools, or data governance frameworks is an advantage.
- Proven experience working in transformation programs, ERP rollouts, or system migrations.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in global, cross-functional environments.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight timelines.
What This Role Offers
