Tailored Graduate Development At Shell, we empower graduates to take ownership of your own development. Co-created by you and your line manager to make the best of your individual strengths, your unique plan is an agreed course of action to help you keep track of your progress and steer your learning. Using this plan as a guide, you will actively manage your development while your line manager will provide the necessary enablement. End-of-Programme Assessment At the end of your programme, your performance and achievements will be reviewed. Upon a successful outcome, an exciting next phase of the journey will commence. To help you find the best place for your skills, we have organised our Graduate Programme into three distinct business areas. Commercial Technical Global Functions Trading and Supply In Global Functions, you will help deliver the specialist advice that enables us to operate as a highly competitive global business. In expert fields like Finance, Contracting & Procurement, HR and Information and Digital Technology, you'll have the opportunity to work and collaborate with teams across the globe. Your Shell Global Functions Graduate Programme experience You will undertake two 18-month assignments during your time in the Programme. Your first assignment is determined on hiring, the next via either application or placement (depending on number/location of roles). Each assignment is different from the last, with roles designed to complement each other, with a broad range of experience and development (which may depend on availability, mobility and development needs). We offer roles with real responsibility and development opportunities from the start. You will experience a spectrum of diverse and enriching learning opportunities that will allow you to accelerate your development. Beyond formal courses and workshops, these include social learning, interactions with senior leaders and collaboration with a global network of experienced colleagues. You will grow, learn, and thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment.
