Software Engineer Intern

SDE Intern Location: Remote, India Duration: 6 months Compensation: ₹8,550 – ₹25,650 per month About Us: We are a fast-growing startup building a new backend system from scratch to power innovative products for our users. You will get to work in a collaborative environment, solve real problems, and contribute meaningful code used in production. What You'll Do: Help design and build a new backend architecture using Python and Django Work on scalable APIs and backend services Deploy and manage infrastructure using AWS Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Collaborate with the team to refine features and ship high-quality updates quickly What We're Looking For: Strong understanding of Python programming Experience (or coursework/projects) with Django Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.) Clear communication and ability to work independently Eagerness to learn and contribute to a production-grade system Nice to Have: Experience working with REST APIs Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) What You'll Get: Real startup experience with direct mentorship Opportunities to take ownership of projects Flexible remote work schedule Exposure to building and deploying backend systems from the ground up
