Job Title: SharePoint Developer
Position: Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint Developer with 5+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable SharePoint solutions.
The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in SharePoint development, SPFx, PowerShell scripting, and custom integrations while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable SharePoint solutions aligned with business and architectural requirements.
- Develop and maintain solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, CSOM/JSOM, REST APIs, and custom integrations.
- Build custom web parts, extensions, forms, workflows, and automation solutions.
- Analyze existing SharePoint implementations and enhance them to support evolving business requirements.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues across client-side, server-side, and SharePoint farm environments.
- Collaborate with support and infrastructure teams for deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.
- Manage source code repositories using Git/GitLab including branching, merge requests, and version control practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide recommendations to improve quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with QA teams to define test cases, acceptance criteria, and validation strategies.
- Prepare deployment guides and ensure smooth release and deployment cycles.
- Lead production deployments while minimizing downtime and mitigating risks.
- Mentor team members on SharePoint best practices, troubleshooting, and development standards.
- Develop proof of concepts (PoCs) for validating business ideas and technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with SharePoint governance, security, coding, and performance standards.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Server 2016/2019/SPSE.
- Strong expertise in SOM, CSOM, REST API, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting using SOM and CSOM.
- Development expertise in C#, JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, SPFx, PowerApps, and PnP Library.
- Familiarity with development tools including Visual Studio and VS Code.
- Experience using GitLab or similar tools for source control and branch management.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Search Schema Management including managed properties and search customization.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Exposure to Power Platform solutions including Power Automate and Power BI.
- Understanding of SharePoint migration and upgrade activities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
