We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for precision engineering and product innovation. This is a hands-on role that demands creativity, technical rigor, and the ability to work independently on high-impact projects.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks).

Prior experience or deep interest in robotics, automation, or aerospace systems.

Working knowledge of composite materials and their manufacturing processes.

A problem-solving mindset, with a sharp focus on innovation, reliability, and precision.

Self-driven individual capable of independent project ownership without the need for micro-management.

Eagerness to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-focused startup environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical components using CAD tools, ensuring compliance with performance and quality benchmarks.

Act as a liaison between mechanical and product teams, ensuring seamless integration across disciplines.

Collaborate with the Mechanical R&D team to drive innovation, iterative design, and continuous improvement.

Coordinate with vendors for prototype and production-level manufacturing, including composite materials fabrication.

Manage procurement and sourcing, maintaining a strong understanding of where and how parts can be fabricated or sourced efficiently.

Support scaling from prototyping to production, ensuring manufacturing meets engineering intent and product standards.


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience in high-performance mechanical design, aerospace, or defense systems is a plus.

Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles.
