Job Context
Birla Cellulosic is a situated on the banks of river Kim in the agricultural belt of Hansot- Taluk in Bharuch district of Gujarat. The project was conceptualized in the year 1994 and was fully commissioned in 1998. Brown field project was fully commissioned in 2009. The unit has an installed capacity of 350 TPD of Viscose Staple Fibre and is the most modern Viscose Staple Fibre producing unit of Grasim s pulp & Fibre business. It also has 65 TPD Carbon-DI-Sulphide (CS2), 350 TPD of Sulphuric Acid, 2 x 15 MW, 1 x 10 MW Thermal Power Plant and other auxiliary plants like Water Treatment, Demineralization, & Effluent Treatment Plant etc. Birla Cellulosic has entered into business at a time when globalization is on its peak and quality requirements of the customers are changing very fast. The majority of the management staff is young without specific experience of Viscose Staple Fibre industry and the technicians are first generation industrial workers with agricultural background. The technicians have good financial support. The company has adapted unique HR practices not common to the industrial environment in the area.

- Coordinate the implementation of the trainings of Staff, Technicians & Contract workmen (internal & external trainings) (Approx 2000 employees)
- Facilitating People Development for sustainable High Performance of the Units and career opportunities to talented staff to ensure growth.
- Coordinating and administrating Poornata modules of T&D & TM
- To prepare the training Calendar as per TNA & Coordinate the training & measure effectiveness of training
- Co-ordinating GHR /BHR initiatives implementations like FOCUS 50, Young Talent, TechX Programs and Gyanodaya Programs.

KRA1 Training Need Identification & Training Calendar 1.TNI is taken through MDP, Departmental Need, and Safety Need for all categories (Staff/Technicians/Contract Workmen) to be identified & Analyzed
- To prepare and implement trainings as per Annual Training Calendar on the basis of validated TNI of all Staff, Technicians & Contract Workmen.
KRA2 Organizing Training Programs 1.To approach Concerned Internal / External Faculties for the program and training is planned as per calendar. Scheduling training programs as per the training Plan, Inviting Nominations, sending Invitation letters to individual employees mentioning the dates of training to be attended by the concern employee
- To ensure pre & post test and feedback of all the technical trainings & programmes
KRA3 Organizing Training Programs 3.To capture the training feedback of all trainings and sharing the training analysis reports with all concerned.
- Follow up for action plan prepared
- To organize and co-ordinate External Training Programs at other units, Gyanodaya, TechX Programs, and at other agencies' as per training need.
KRA4 Talent Management & Development 1.Facilitation of Potential Assessment of eligible employees and their DAC Process.
- Facilitating the completion of IDP / Actions plans of Talent Pool Members
- Facilitation for Focus 50 initiatives and timely coordination of their reviews.
- Support OD/OE initiatives such as engagement programs, process improvements, competency development, and change management
KRA5 Poornata (ELM) & MIS Updation 1.Capturing Data in ELM Module of Poornata for all the training programs conducted, along with the training Event containing training details, its objective, coverage, target participants, costs involved, etc.; Sessions conducted, participants' details and their attendance.
- To ensure data & records of all training programs, i.e. Internal trainings, External trainings, KIP Visits, Online Training records are captured and maintained as per ISO Standards and targeted man-days.
KRA6 Recruitment 1. Manage end to end recruitment (third party & Management Cadre), coordination with agencies, documentation, onboarding & compliance.
KRA7 Internal & External ISO Audits 1.Facilitating the data & record as per the laid down ISO- procedures with regards to Training & Development.
KRA8 MIS Reporting 1. Prepare accurate Monthly MIS reports covering key HR metrics, analysis, and dashboards.
- Create power point presentations for reviews, meetings, and HR initiatives with clear data insights.
KRA9 Employee Engagement 1. Plan and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance motivation, retention, and organizational culture.
