Position Overview
As a Business Teacher at Servite High School, the candidate will:
-Teach multiple business courses that will include College Preparatory (CP) Business & AP Business with Personal Finance; this will be a full-time position teaching 5 sections.
-Design and deliver engaging lessons that emphasize financial literacy, entrepreneurship, ethical business practices, and real-world application.
-Support students in developing practical skills such as budgeting, investment fundamentals, critical analysis, collaboration, and professional communication.
-Collaborate with the Social Studies Department, Counseling, and administration to align curriculum, assessments, and instructional practices with college and career readiness goals.
-Integrate Servite’s Catholic mission and values—particularly ethical leadership and service to others—into classroom culture and instruction.
-Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the broader life of the school community.

<p>We are looking for a candidate who:</p>
<ul>
<li>Is passionate about teaching business, finance, and financial literacy to high school students.</li>
<li>Demonstrates strong content knowledge in business concepts and the ability to teach both <strong>college-preparatory and AP-level coursework</strong>.</li>
<li>Is highly organized, student-centered, and skilled at engaging motivated learners.</li>
<li>Has prior teaching experience (preferred), including experience with AP or upper-level coursework.</li>
<li>Embraces Servite’s Catholic identity and mission of forming young men of faith, character, and leadership.</li>

Requirements / Qualifications
Required: Candidate should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred: A California Teaching Credential is preferred, but not required.
Preferred: Experience teaching in a high school setting, including college-preparatory and/or AP-level coursework.
