Position Summary
This role is ideal for someone who is proficient in manual and automation QA testing with a passion for enhancing quality assurance practices through automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed comprehensive and well- structured test plans and test cases
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement latest testing tools and test strategies to maximize development efficiency
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugsin standard tracking tools
- Perform thorough functional & regression testing
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Requirements
- SQL (Database testing)
- API testing
- Mobile application testing
- Unix (primarily for verifying logs)
- Strong knowledge of QA processes, testing concepts, STLC
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugsin standard tracking tools
- Perform thorough functional & regression testing
- Automation knowledge / experience using any tool (Selenium, Appium, etc)
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Exposure to Agile work environment
- Experience in using JIRA
