About the Role
Our consulting client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow UI Builder Engineer with strong telecom domain expertise to design and develop modern, responsive, and domain-separated user experiences using ServiceNow’s Next Experience UI Framework.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, architects, and development teams to build customized Workspaces and Portals aligned with telecom workflows, customer service operations, and enterprise service management requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement custom UI pages using ServiceNow UI Builder and App Engine Studio.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate telecom requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Build reusable UI components and templates for Workspaces and Portals.
- Configure record page layouts, widgets, and dynamic user criteria-based views.
- Integrate and support telecom-focused ServiceNow modules including TMT, CSM, ITSM, and FSM.
- Maintain and support domain separation and multi-tenancy configurations.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot UI-related issues and optimize application performance across devices.
- Support scoped application development and platform customization initiatives.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow UI Builder
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Next Experience UI Framework (Seismic)
- Experience with telecom-focused ServiceNow modules including:
- TMT
- FSM
- CSM
- ITSM
- Strong proficiency in:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- AngularJS
- Glide APIs
- Experience with:
- App Engine Studio
- Flow Designer
- Integration Hub
- Experience working in domain-separated and scoped application environments
- Experience building shopping portals within ServiceNow
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working with telecom service providers or network equipment vendors
- Exposure to AI/ML integrations within ServiceNow including GenAI and Predictive Analytics
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines
