Job Description : ServiceNow Technical Architect/ Lead
Position : ServiceNow Technical Architect/Lead
Location : Hyderabad
Reporting To : Director of Software Systems
Role Overview
The ServiceNow Technical Architect will be responsible for architecting and implementing enterprise-scale business process workflows within the ServiceNow ecosystem. This role demands strong hands-on technical expertise, deep business domain understanding, and the ability to design scalable solutions that integrate
across multiple enterprise systems. The architect will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, mentor technical teams, and drive innovation by showcasing AI-enabled enhancements within ServiceNow. This role interacts as a conduit between Consultant Experts from ServiceNow, Engineering team and Business.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design :
- Architect large-scale workflows and business processes on the ServiceNow platform.
- Design integrations with enterprise systems (Finance, Marketing, Infra,Engineering, HR).
- Ensure compliance with architectural standards, coding practices, and governance frameworks.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Present architectural strategies and solutions to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
Technical Leadership
- Provide hands-on guidance in ServiceNow development, configuration, and workflow automation.
- Mentor developers and administrators, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Establish reusable frameworks and automation standards.
Innovation
- Explore AI-driven innovations and integrate them into ServiceNow workflows.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to enhance platform Experience & Qualifications :
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 6+ years in
- ServiceNow platform architecture and development.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering Business processes
- Proven track record in architecting enterprise-scale ServiceNow
- implementations and integrations.
- Experience working in GCC/global delivery environments with multi-stakeholder engagement.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow modules : ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM,and GRC.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub,Orchestration, and Scoped Applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, and ServiceNow scripting. Development experience in any popular stack (MS/Open/LAMP etc.) is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS integration patterns.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Business Process Automation and enterprise workflow design.
- Experience in delivering applications end-to-end using popular technology stacks such as Microsoft/Open/LAMP etc. is a plus.
- Algorithmic solutioning, Nuances in designing Orchestrations, blending sub-systems and defending designs are nice to have.
Certifications (Preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent advanced certification.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM/ITOM/HRSD/CSM. ITIL v4 Foundation Certification.
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.

- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
