Role Summary We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Technical Lead & Architect to act as the strategic platform owner and technical authority for the ServiceNow ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving platform architecture, governance, scalability, integrations, and enterprise-wide ServiceNow transformation initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of technical leadership, solution architecture, stakeholder management, and platform governance experience across multiple ServiceNow modules including ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, CMDB, and Integrations. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, security teams, and vendor partners to ensure the platform aligns with long-term organizational goals and best practices. Key Responsibilities Platform Ownership & Architecture • Own the end-to-end ServiceNow platform strategy, architecture, and roadmap • Define platform governance, coding standards, development best practices, and architectural guardrails • Ensure platform scalability, performance optimization, reliability, and security compliance • Drive alignment with enterprise architecture and organizational security standards • Lead platform modernization and continuous improvement initiatives • Act as the final technical authority for architectural and design decisions ServiceNow Module Ownership ITSM • Own and optimize core ITSM modules including: o Incident Management o Problem Management o Change Management o Request Management o Knowledge Management o CMDB • Ensure ITIL-aligned processes and automation-driven workflows • Act as escalation point for critical incidents and complex process decisions HR Service Delivery (HRSD) • Lead HRSD implementations and enhancements including: o HR Case Management o Employee Service Center o Lifecycle Events • Partner with HR business stakeholders to deliver scalable employee experiences • Ensure compliance with data privacy, audit, and access control requirements ITOM & CMDB • Own CMDB governance, CI lifecycle management, and data quality initiatives • Lead ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping adoption • Drive operational visibility and service intelligence across enterprise IT systems Enterprise Integrations • Architect and govern enterprise integrations using: o REST APIs o SOAP APIs o MID Servers o IntegrationHub o Data Fabric/Data Sources • Ensure long-term maintainability, scalability, and monitoring of integrations • Define integration security models, credential management, and error-handling frameworks Platform Upgrades & Release Management • Own platform upgrade strategy, release planning, regression testing, and deployment governance • Conduct impact analysis and ensure alignment with ongoing business programs • Drive go-live readiness reviews and rollback planning • Ensure platform stability during upgrades and releases Technical Leadership & Team Management • Lead and mentor ServiceNow development and support teams • Provide technical governance across projects and enhancements • Review architecture, solution designs, code quality, and implementation standards • Drive knowledge management and ensure long-term capability retention within the organization • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions Required Skills & Experience • 8–12+ years of overall ServiceNow experience • Strong experience in ServiceNow Technical Lead / Architect roles • Hands-on expertise across: o ITSM o HRSD o ITOM o CMDB o Discovery o Integrations • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, governance, and enterprise implementations • Experience managing large-scale ServiceNow environments in enterprise organizations • Expertise in platform upgrades, integrations, and operational governance • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Experience leading distributed teams and vendor coordination Certifications • ServiceNow CSA certification – Mandatory • CIS certifications – Mandatory • CTA/CMA or Architect-level certifications – Preferred • ITIL certification – Preferred Preferred Candidate Profile • Strong architecture and platform ownership mindset • Experience working with large enterprise customers • Ability to drive strategic platform decisions • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Immediate joiners or candidates serving notice period preferred
