Key Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and implement end-to-end ServiceNow SAM Pro solutions.
- Lead SAM Pro implementation, enhancement, and optimization projects.
- Configure Software Models, Discovery Models, Entitlements, Contracts, Content Service, Publisher Packs, Normalization, and Reconciliation.
- Design software license compliance and optimization strategies for publishers such as Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM, SAP, and VMware.
- Manage different software licensing metrics, including User, Device, Core, Processor, Subscription, SaaS, Named User, and Concurrent User.
- Integrate ServiceNow SAM Pro with SCCM, Intune, JAMF, Flexera, Snow, Tanium, and other discovery/asset-management platforms.
- Develop workflows and customizations using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
- Build and maintain third-party integrations using IntegrationHub, REST, and SOAP APIs.
- Perform software license analysis, compliance reporting, optimization, and audit-readiness activities.
- Troubleshoot complex SAM Pro issues and provide architectural recommendations.
- Collaborate with ITAM, ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, Procurement, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor ServiceNow developers throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of ServiceNow development and architecture experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro).
- Strong knowledge of Software Asset Management, License Compliance, Software Normalization, Reconciliation Engine, Software Models, Discovery Models, Publisher Packs, Content Service, Entitlements, and Contracts.
- Strong understanding of CMDB, Discovery, and ITAM modules.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with SCCM, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Flexera, Tanium, Snow, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software licensing models and license optimization.
- Experience with software compliance, optimization, and audit readiness.
- Excellent communication, architecture, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Immediate to 15-day joiners preferred.
Mandatory Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM)
Preferred: HAM Pro, ITSM, Discovery, Performance Analytics, Reporting, ServiceNow Upgrade/Release Management, ITIL certification, and additional ServiceNow certifications.
