SAM Operations Analyst – Lifecycle & Catalog
Focus: Request fulfillment, sourcing, and catalog governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Software Sourcing Requests within a 24 hour SLA, validating against existing inventory.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Security to maintain catalog standards.
- Manage RITM/GTASK creation and procurement workflows in Oracle S2P.
- Execute 90 day renewal notifications and stakeholder communications.
Technical Fix Agent: TResponsible for platform health. Fixes broken Discovery patterns, manages Service Graph Connectors (SCCM/Intune), scripts Flow Designer logic, and resolves Import Set errors or normalization breaks.
Detailed JD
Lead and implement ServiceNow SAM Pro integrations with SaaS publishers such as Microsoft 365, Adobe, Salesforce, Oracle, and AWS using both out-of-the-box connectors and custom APIs.
Build, configure, and maintain custom integration frameworks to support non-standard or emerging SaaS vendors.
Collaborate with procurement, IT asset management, and vendor management teams to ingest procurement and entitlement data from ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion and SAP.
Conduct stakeholder workshops and act as a subject matter expert on SAM Pro licensing models, discovery methods, and optimization strategies.
Support ongoing operationalization of the SAM Pro module through automation and process standardization.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow System Admin (CSA)
JavaScript/Glide Scripting
Experience with IRE (Identification & Reconciliation Engine)
API Integration knowledge
Good understanding of ITAM, ITSM, and CMDB best practices.
