Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Presales Lead to drive technical strategy and solution alignment during the sales cycle. You will act as a trusted advisor to prospective enterprise customers, working alongside sales, consulting, and executive stakeholders to craft impactful ServiceNow-based solutions that align with business objectives.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role that requires a strong mix of technical proficiency, business acumen, and leadership in solution selling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead presales activities across a defined portfolio, providing strategic direction and oversight on solutioning and technical sales engagements.
  • Own the discovery process to understand customer challenges, architecture, and goals—translating them into tailored ServiceNow solutions.
  • Conduct high-level consultative engagements with C-suite stakeholders to align ServiceNow capabilities with business strategy.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, value propositions, and presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with Sales to define and execute account strategies and drive opportunity pipelines.
  • Drive the creation of proposal and RFP/RFI responses, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business outcomes.
  • Guide Proof-of-Concept (PoC) and Proof-of-Value (PoV) initiatives with clear success metrics and stakeholder alignment.
  • Stay up-to-date on ServiceNow product releases, roadmap, and industry trends to ensure thought leadership in customer conversations.
  • Support marketing initiatives including webinars, conferences, and regional events.
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation, including handover of requirements and solution approach.
  • Coach and mentor junior presales consultants to foster team capability and scalability.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise software presales, with at least 3–5 years in a lead or senior presales role.
  • Strong background in ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ESM platforms (platform-wide knowledge preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead complex solutioning across industries such as Manufacturing, BFSI, Healthcare, or Public Sector.
  • Experience managing both new logo pursuits and upselling to existing accounts.
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models and commercial constructs.
  • Demonstrated success metrics such as win rate, deal margin, and renewal rate.
  • Expertise in value-based selling, business case creation, and ROI modeling.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, delivery, product, and marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a track record of engaging executive-level stakeholders.
  • Understanding of AI/automation trends and their impact on enterprise service workflows is a plus.
