đź’Ľ Job Description: ServiceNow ITOM Consultant
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Consultant to design, implement, and support IT Operations Management solutions. The role will focus on discovery, service mapping, event management, and operational intelligence to improve IT service visibility and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support ServiceNow ITOM modules, including:
- Discovery
- Service Mapping
- Event Management
- Cloud Management / Operational Intelligence (as applicable)
- Design and configure ITOM workflows, integrations, and automations.
- Integrate ITOM with ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incidents, Problems, Changes).
- Configure MID Servers and manage Discovery schedules and patterns.
- Analyze infrastructure and application dependencies for accurate service mapping.
- Support troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis using ITOM capabilities.
- Participate in UAT, go‑live, and post‑production support.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align ITOM solutions with business requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM.
- Experience in Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Good understanding of infrastructure technologies (Servers, Network, Cloud).
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes).
- Understanding of CMDB concepts and data modeling.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Good‑to‑Have Skills
- ServiceNow ITOM certification.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to integrations with monitoring tools.
- Experience in large-scale or global ServiceNow implementations.
