Job Title: ServiceNow ITOM Integration Developer
Role Overview - The developer will be responsible for implementing and integrating ServiceNow ITOM modules using best practices, including:
- Discovery
- Service Mapping
- Event Management
- Orchestration
- CMDB integrations
Key Responsibilities -
ITOM Implementation & Integration:
- Implement ITSM & ITOM solutions using industry best practices.
- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM modules with enterprise monitoring tools and application management systems using OOB plugins and API methods.
- Develop and configure Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration use cases.
Scripting & Customization -
Hands-on development using:
- Business Rules
- Script Includes
- Fix Scripts
- Workflows
- UI Actions & Policies
- Client Scripts
- Inbound Email Actions
Design and modify:
- Forms
- Workflows
- Service Maps
- SLAs
- Web Services
- Transform Maps
Platform Expertise -
- Lead configuration and customization of ServiceNow instances.
- Provide best practice recommendations aligned with OEM standards.
- Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Performance Analytics.
- Design and modify Service Portal components.
Qualifications -
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Jelly preferred).
- Experience with third-party software integrations.
- Familiarity with modules like CSM, HRSD, GRC, ITBM.
Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- CIS-ITSM
- Certified Application Developer
- ITIL Foundations (preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
