Job Title - ServiceNow HRSD Technical Developer
Experience Required - 9+ Years
Work Location - Mumbai (Work from Office 5 Days)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow HRSD Technical Developer with strong hands-on expertise in HR Service Delivery (HRSD) implementations and customization. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in ServiceNow development along with deep knowledge of HR processes, Employee Center portals, UI/UX customization, and workflow automation.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting HRSD solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices while collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow HRSD platform.
- Configure and customize HRSD modules, workflows, lifecycle events, and employee journeys.
- Develop and support Employee Center portals, custom widgets, and UI/UX enhancements.
- Implement HR-related workflows including:
- Employee onboarding
- Background verification
- Candidate promotions
- Hire-to-Retire processes
- Develop and maintain client scripts, business rules, script includes, UI policies, and integrations.
- Create Technical Design Documents (TDDs), solution documentation, and implementation plans.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs), code reviews, and technical validations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, portal, and workflow-related issues.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and propose scalable solutions.
- Ensure coding standards, platform governance, and ServiceNow best practices are followed.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 9+ years of overall ServiceNow development experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of recent hands-on experience in ServiceNow HRSD is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
- Employee Center / Employee Service Center
- Custom widgets and portal development
- UI/UX customization
- Workflow and lifecycle event configuration
- Strong scripting expertise in:
- JavaScript
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- Script Includes
- UI Policies
- Flow Designer
- Experience in technical documentation, code reviews, and solution design.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of ITSM processes and ServiceNow platform architecture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Mandatory Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist HRSD (CIS-HR)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on enterprise HR transformation projects.
- Exposure to integrations with third-party HR systems.
- Knowledge of Service Portal and Next Experience frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
