Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Senior Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow development, workflow automation, and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will work closely with technical architects and cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions across multiple ServiceNow modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement solutions across ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM.
- Design and implement ServiceNow workflows using Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
- Build and customize Scoped Applications within the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop scripts using JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting frameworks.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Customize and enhance ServiceNow UI using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, or React.
- Collaborate with architects and technical teams to design scalable solutions.
- Participate in CI/CD implementation, automated testing, and DevOps processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues with strong debugging practices.
- Contribute to innovation by exploring AI-driven capabilities within ServiceNow.
- Assist in building applications and integrations both within and outside the ServiceNow platform.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of overall IT experience
- 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
- Strong expertise in the following ServiceNow modules: (any 2)
ITSM
ITOM
HRSD
CSM
Hands-on experience with:
- Flow Designer
- Integration Hub
- Scoped Applications
Strong scripting knowledge in:
- JavaScript
- Glide API
- ServiceNow scripting frameworks
Experience integrating systems using:
- REST APIs
- SOAP APIs
- JSON
- XML
- Knowledge of cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ServiceNow UI customization using AngularJS or React.
- Exposure to SaaS integrations and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience building applications beyond the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Interest in leveraging AI capabilities within ServiceNow solutions.
Certifications (Preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITSM / ITOM / HRSD / CSM
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
