Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong ServiceNow GRC Developer to support the delivery of enterprise-scale governance, risk, and compliance solutions for a leading client. The role requires hands-on expertise in ServiceNow GRC/IRM development, workflow automation, integrations, and platform configuration to enable scalable and audit-ready governance processes.
The ideal candidate will combine strong ServiceNow development capabilities with an understanding of enterprise risk and compliance operations, ensuring business and regulatory requirements are effectively translated into robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow GRC/IRM solutions, including modules related to risk management, policy and compliance management, controls management, assessments, and issue management.
- Translate functional, business, and regulatory requirements into scalable technical designs, workflows, and platform configurations aligned with enterprise governance standards.
- Build and configure controls, risk indicators, assessments, workflows, notifications, dashboards, and automated processes to support governance and compliance objectives.
- Support end-to-end implementation activities including development, customization, integration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, stakeholders, architects, and platform teams to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of GRC requirements.
- Develop and enhance platform capabilities using ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, business rules, integrations, APIs, and automation frameworks.
- Integrate ServiceNow GRC with enterprise systems and third-party applications to improve data consistency, reporting, and operational visibility.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, data integrity, security, and auditability requirements.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing GRC solutions to improve system performance, usability, scalability, and reporting effectiveness.
- Participate in testing activities including unit testing, SIT, UAT support, defect resolution, and release validation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow GRC/IRM implementations.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform development including scripting (JavaScript), workflows, Flow Designer, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations.
- Experience developing and configuring modules related to risk management, policy and compliance, controls, assessments, and governance reporting.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, and automation frameworks within ServiceNow environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow GRC/IRM implementation certifications or relevant platform credentials.
- Experience working within regulated or enterprise environments requiring strong audit and compliance controls.
- Knowledge of governance and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOX, COBIT, NIST, GDPR, or PCI-DSS.
