About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Remote Senior ServiceNow Developer specializing in SecOps & GRC to join our team on a contractual basis. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a remote work environment and is capable of working full-time during CET working hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced ServiceNow solutions that enhance security operations and governance, risk, and compliance processes. Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on SecOps and GRC modules.
- Proven expertise in solution architecture, including end-to-end workflow design, configuration, and upgrade-safe development aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
- Deep understanding of integration and automation techniques, including experience with vulnerability scanners, SIEM tools, Flow Designer, Playbooks, and Integration Hub.
- Strong scripting skills, with the ability to develop custom solutions only when necessary, adhering to standard development practices.
- Basic knowledge of ITIL concepts and practices to ensure alignment with IT service management standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and enhancement of ServiceNow SecOps modules, primarily focusing on Vulnerability Response (VR) and Security Incident Response (SIR).
- Own end-to-end solution delivery for SecOps workflows, including intake, correlation, prioritization, remediation, and reporting processes.
- Design and support GRC capabilities such as Policy & Compliance, Risk Assessment, TPRM, BIA, and BCM, ensuring comprehensive traceability across risks, controls, and issues.
- Act as an independent solution designer, making architecture decisions that align with ServiceNow best practices and scalable platform design principles.
- Review business and security requirements to promote a configuration-first approach, challenging unnecessary customizations and minimizing technical debt.
- Implement integrations with various security tools (e.g., Tenable, SIEM solutions) and leverage Flow Designer, Playbooks, and Integration Hub for automation and process efficiencies.
- Develop high-quality, upgrade-safe solutions using scripting only where necessary, following ServiceNow development standards.
- Ensure effective utilization of CMDB and CSDM to enable accurate risk and vulnerability prioritization.
- Collaborate with Security, Risk, Compliance, and Audit stakeholders to translate domain requirements into effective platform solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, support platform governance, and ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and audit-ready.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, refine, and document technical and functional requirements through user stories and specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented features and improvements to facilitate ongoing support and enhancements.
- Contribute to the development of standardized processes and reusable solutions to optimize platform efficiency.
- Support testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and deployment planning.
