About The Role
We are hiring for a front-end and experience-focused ServiceNow specialist to join our client’s team during a pivotal ServiceNow transformation. This role is integral to the development of a modern Employee Center, a comprehensive portal designed to unify HR, IT, and business services into a seamless digital experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, user-friendly portals and guided workflows that enhance user engagement and operational efficiency. This position requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow’s UI capabilities, including Portal development, UI Builder, Flows, and Playbooks, with a focus on delivering intuitive and scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical expertise, practical experience, and excellent communication skills. Mandatory qualifications include hands-on experience with ServiceNow Portal, UI Builder, and Employee Center modules. Proficiency in front-end development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with Angular or AngularJS experience preferred, is essential. Candidates must have a strong understanding of Flow Designer, including creating and managing flows and subflows, as well as experience with ServiceNow Playbooks, particularly in Customer Service Management (CSM) and HR Service Delivery (HRSD). Familiarity with REST APIs and integrations is also required. A proven ability to design clean, user-focused solutions and collaborate effectively with stakeholders is critical to success in this role. Basic UX knowledge, including experience with Figma or similar tools, is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop ServiceNow Portals, Employee Centers, and UI Builder workspaces that deliver engaging user experiences.
- Create responsive, intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with Angular/AngularJS preferred.
- Develop and manage catalog items, record producers, and portal pages to facilitate seamless service delivery.
- Leverage Flow Designer to build and optimize flows and subflows supporting various business processes.
- Design and implement ServiceNow Playbooks to standardize case handling and improve operational workflows.
- Customize widgets, components, and pages to enhance functionality and user engagement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and usability of portal solutions through rigorous testing and optimization.
Benefits

The role provides competitive day rates up to ₹20,000, inclusive of TDS, based on experience, with payments processed within 21 days of invoice submission. The position is fully remote, allowing flexibility in work location, and is based in India.
