About The Role
We are hiring for a global consulting client undergoing a significant ServiceNow transformation. The primary focus of this role is to design and develop modern, user-centric portals within the ServiceNow platform, specifically targeting the Employee Center or portal of portals concept. This position is ideal for a front-end and experience-focused ServiceNow professional who is passionate about creating seamless digital experiences. You will be responsible for building high-quality, intuitive portals and guided workflows by leveraging UI Builder, portal development skills, flows, and Playbooks. The role demands a strong understanding of user experience principles, front-end development, and ServiceNow capabilities to deliver solutions that are scalable, performant, and user-friendly.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and a strong understanding of user experience design. Mandatory qualifications include hands-on experience with ServiceNow Portal, UI Builder, and Employee Center. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with Angular or AngularJS experience preferred, is essential. Candidates should have a solid background in developing and managing catalog items, record producers, and portal pages. Experience with Flow Designer, including creating flows and subflows, is required. Familiarity with ServiceNow Playbooks, particularly in Customer Service Management (CSM) or HR Service Delivery (HRSD), is a must. Additional skills in REST API integrations, designing clean and intuitive solutions, and excellent stakeholder communication are highly valued. Basic UX knowledge, including experience with Figma or similar tools, is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop ServiceNow portals, Employee Centers, and UI Builder workspaces that meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
- Create responsive, accessible, and visually appealing UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular/AngularJS.
- Build and maintain catalog items, record producers, and portal pages to facilitate seamless user interactions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
- Leverage Flow Designer to create, manage, and optimize flows and subflows supporting various business processes.
- Design and implement ServiceNow Playbooks to streamline case handling and improve operational efficiency.
- Customize widgets, components, and pages to improve usability and meet specific user needs.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of portal solutions through best practices and continuous improvement.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to portal development and deployment.
Benefits
Careerwise offers a competitive compensation package, including a day rate of up to ₹20,000, payable within 21 days of invoice receipt.
