About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-End ServiceNow Specialist to join our dynamic team on a contractual basis. This role is pivotal in supporting a major ServiceNow transformation project for a global consulting client. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing and developing user-centric portals and guided workflows that enhance the overall employee and stakeholder experience. The primary focus will be on building modern, responsive, and intuitive interfaces using ServiceNow’s UI Builder, Portal development tools, and Flow Designer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative digital solutions that unify HR, IT, and business services into a seamless digital experience, contributing significantly to the client’s digital transformation journey.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in front-end development within the ServiceNow platform, with proven experience in building portals and UI components. Essential qualifications include hands-on expertise with ServiceNow’s Portal, UI Builder, and Employee Center modules, along with proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, preferably with Angular or AngularJS frameworks. Candidates should demonstrate substantial experience with Flow Designer, including creating flows and subflows, as well as developing and managing catalog items, record producers, and portal pages. Familiarity with ServiceNow Playbooks, particularly in CSM and HRSD modules, is mandatory. Additionally, experience with REST API integrations and designing user-focused solutions is required. Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience are also essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow portals, Employee Centers, and UI Builder workspaces that are responsive and user-friendly.
- Create intuitive UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular/AngularJS to enhance user experience.
- Develop and maintain catalog items, record producers, and portal pages to support various business processes.
- Utilize Flow Designer to build, manage, and optimize flows and subflows that automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Design and implement structured ServiceNow Playbooks to streamline case handling and service delivery.
- Customize widgets, components, and pages to improve usability and meet stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure delivery aligns with expectations.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and usability of portal solutions through thorough testing and optimization.
- Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and best practices to continuously improve portal solutions.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive day rate of up to ₹20,000, inclusive of 10% TDS, based on experience. The position is fully remote, allowing flexibility in work location within India. The contract duration is initially 12 months, with potential extension based on project needs and performance. Working hours align with UK timings, typically 8 hours per day, providing a balanced work schedule. Payment is processed within 21 days of invoice submission, ensuring smooth financial transactions.
