About The Role
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team at NOBL Q. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in CMDB and integrations, playing a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects involving configuration management, data integrity, and system integrations that directly impact our clients' IT operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of ServiceNow solutions.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
- Strong expertise in CMDB architecture, management, and optimization.
- Practical knowledge of Discovery and Service Mapping modules.
- Experience working with the Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE).
- Proficiency in developing and managing REST and SOAP API integrations.
- Hands-on experience with IntegrationHub and Flow Designer for automation and integrations.
- Knowledge of MID Server setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of ITSM processes such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and related scripting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions within the ServiceNow CMDB to ensure accurate and reliable data management.
- Implement and manage CI Class Models, relationships, and dependencies to support business processes.
- Utilize the Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) to enhance data accuracy and consistency across the CMDB.
- Develop and configure integrations with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer.
- Configure and troubleshoot MID Server setups to facilitate discovery and integrations.
- Implement and support ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to automate infrastructure and application mapping.
- Create and optimize custom scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, and Client Scripts, to enhance platform capabilities.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools such as cloud platforms, monitoring solutions, and other enterprise systems.
- Ensure ongoing CMDB data quality using the CMDB Health Dashboard and other monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMDB data, integrations, and platform performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Follow best practices for development, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables.
