Your Role
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will design, configure, customize, and enhance the ServiceNow platform across multiple modules and enterprise use cases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver high‑quality solutions that support business transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow in one or more modules including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, Service Request Management, Service Portal, and Integrations.
- Develop custom applications, solutions, workflows, and widgets (both custom and OOB).
- Build and configure mobile applications within the ServiceNow platform.
- Implement case management workflows and employee/customer‑facing portal features.
- Utilize AI Search, Predictive Intelligence, and GenAI‑based ServiceNow features.
- Work on latest-generation ServiceNow UX/UI frameworks and components.
- Build and support integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, MID Server, SSO, LDAP, and external enterprise systems.
- Develop middleware API calls for mobile and web applications.
- Translate design components and wireframes into functional, responsive interfaces.
- Prepare software releases, documentation, technical specifications, and code reviews.
- Write and execute test cases including automated tests within ServiceNow.
- Support continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies, design options, and architectural patterns.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and engineer scalable solutions using existing and new algorithms.
Your Profile
- 4–12 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Hands‑on expertise with ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, Service Portal, or any one major ServiceNow module.
- Skilled in Customer/Employee Center Portal development and implementation.
- Strong experience in case management workflows and modern UI frameworks.
- Practical knowledge of AI Search, Predictive Intelligence, and GenAI features within ServiceNow.
- Experience developing custom applications, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Server Scripts, Workflows, and Data Imports.
- Experience configuring ITOM/ITBM modules, service catalogs, and request workflows.
- Strong integration experience using REST APIs, MID Server, SSO, LDAP, and email integrations.
- Hands‑on experience building mobile apps within ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and participation in all phases of SDLC.
- Experience in creating and executing test cases (manual and automated).
- Ability to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and work directly with business stakeholders.
- Exposure to Apache Jelly (ServiceNow proprietary scripting) is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Enhance, manage, and support customer‑facing and employee‑facing ServiceNow portals.
- Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise applications via web services, APIs, email, and MID Server.
- Build responsive web interfaces aligned with design specifications.
- Develop middleware API calls and automate workflows for mobile and web applications.
- Prepare automated tests, perform functional testing, and ensure high-quality releases.
- Maintain technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and release notes.
- Provide continuous improvement recommendations and implement enhancements.
- Support HRSD development and enterprise use cases.
