Job Title – Senior ServiceNow Developer

What role you will play in Team:
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on expertise and deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, especially in ITSM. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in designing, developing, and customizing solutions, with a strong understanding of ITSM processes and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow solutions with a focus on ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Service Catalog).
- Perform hands-on development using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and other platform capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Work closely with stakeholders, BA teams, and architects to implement requirements.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform and application issues.
- Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6–10 years of strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs).
- Strong expertise in ITSM processes and ITIL framework.
- Proven experience working on core ITSM modules and CMDB.
- Experience in custom application development and scoped applications.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns and APIs.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator).
- CIS-ITSM certification is a strong advantage.
- Exposure to additional modules like ITOM / CSM / HRSD is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
