We are seeking a seasoned
Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of custom applications and complex integrations. You will go beyond standard ITSM configurations, leveraging the latest ServiceNow features like UI Builder and Flow Designer to deliver modern, automated solutions that drive organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Custom Application Development: Lead the design and development of bespoke applications on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with architectural best practices.
- Platform Modernization: Utilize UI Builder and Workspace configuration to create intuitive, high-performance user interfaces and agent experiences.
- Advanced Scripting: Develop sophisticated workflows and business logic using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow server/client-side scripting.
- Automation & Integration: Design and implement complex integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP and IntegrationHub.
- Workflow Orchestration: Build and manage automated processes via Flow Designer and manage complex request fulfillment through the Service Catalog.
- Process Alignment: Apply a deep understanding of ITSM processes and the CMDB to ensure data integrity and platform health.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience exclusively within the ServiceNow platform in a developer capacity.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow-specific APIs (GlideRecord, GlideAggregate, etc.).
- App Engine Expertise: Proven track record of building and deploying Custom Applications.
- Modern Toolset: Hands-on experience with UI Builder and configuring Workspaces.
- Integration & Automation: Strong command of Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and web service integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of the ServiceNow data model, CMDB structures, and core ITSM modules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is highly preferred.
- Advanced Certification: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is a significant plus.
- Quality Assurance: Experience implementing and running the Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Front-End Extension: Knowledge of Service Portal or creating custom components for UI Builder.
