ServiceNow Developer – Instance Observability (IO)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with expertise in Instance Observability (IO) and strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITAM, and CMDB modules. The ideal candidate should have 6–8+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, monitoring, and platform performance optimization. This role involves implementing ServiceNow Impact IO solutions, configuring alerts, monitoring platform stability, and developing custom solutions to enhance ServiceNow platform observability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure ServiceNow Instance Observability (Impact IO) solutions.
- Configure alerts, instance scanners, and data collection mechanisms including Value Management and Service Bridge.
- Develop custom monitoring solutions to track ServiceNow platform availability, stability, and performance thresholds.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow components such as:
- Flow Designer
- Business Rules
- Script Includes
- Client Scripts
- UI Pages
- Out-of-the-box (OOB) features
- Work with ServiceNow Glide APIs including GlideRecord, GlideSystem, GlideAggregate, and GlideAjax.
- Troubleshoot Service Portal issues and work with JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.
- Perform ServiceNow integrations using REST APIs.
- Maintain instance performance, update sets, upgrades, and cloning activities.
- Troubleshoot issues related to custom applications, plugins, and MID Server configurations.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and product owners to deliver effective solutions.
