MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and ITIL frameworks.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript).
- Experience with integration tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- Certifications: ITIL, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (preferred).
GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS:
Support development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment training and hyper-care activities
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and maintain CMDB architecture aligned with CSDM and enterprise IT strategy.
- Establish CI classes, attributes, and relationships for accurate service representation.
- Develop and enforce CMDB governance policies and lifecycle management.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, ITAM, and ITOM modules.
- Integrate CMDB with external systems (e.g., via APIs, MID Servers).
- Ensure platform scalability and adherence to ServiceNow best practices.
- Lead implementation of Service Mapping to visualize dependencies.
- Automate CMDB population using ServiceNow Discovery tools.
- Deployment in UAT, TEST and Production
