Job Summary
We are seeking a talented ServiceNow AI / Now Assist Developer with 4–8 years of experience in ServiceNow development and AI-powered workflow automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Now Assist, Generative AI capabilities, AI Search, Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and ServiceNow AI Platform to design and implement intelligent solutions that enhance employee and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI-powered solutions using ServiceNow Now Assist and the ServiceNow AI Platform.
- Configure and customize Now Assist capabilities for ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, and other ServiceNow modules.
- Develop AI-driven workflows using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and App Engine.
- Configure and optimize AI Search, Virtual Agent, and Predictive Intelligence.
- Build and integrate Generative AI use cases, including summarization, content generation, case resolution, and intelligent recommendations.
- Develop REST/SOAP integrations with external AI platforms and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI automation opportunities and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot AI model performance, workflows, and integrations.
- Ensure security, governance, and compliance while implementing AI capabilities.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment guides.
Required Skills
- 4–8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Strong experience with Now Assist, Generative AI, or ServiceNow AI Platform.
- Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, App Engine, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Policies.
- Experience with AI Search, Virtual Agent, and Predictive Intelligence.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external AI services using REST APIs.
- Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Now Assist Skill Kit and custom AI skill development.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow AI Agent, AI Agent Studio, and AI Controller.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.
- Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and knowledge management for AI solutions.
- Familiarity with AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
- Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM/CSM/HRSD is an added advantage.
- Relevant AI or cloud certifications are a plus.
