Role & Responsibilities
- Install, test, and ensure proper functionality of new products.
- Develop process improvements to optimize equipment and material use, maximizing production.
- Identify unsafe operations and report them to the Manager.
- Establish safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees.
- Provide engineering support for production and maintenance to ensure maximum production efficiency.
- Perform maintenance tasks and offer customer support.
- Diagnose product issues and implement solutions for repairs.
- Write service reports after diagnostics.
- Respond to service requests and repair products as needed.
- Travel for on-site service as required.
- Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability.
- Investigate problems, analyze root causes, and derive solutions.
- Completing tasks assigned by the reporting manager
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter, Turner (mandatory)
- 1 year of experience or apprenticeship experience in a relevant field.
- south Indian language proficiency or at least good English communication skills for effective communication with South India-based clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong skills in equipment installation, repair, testing, and troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the role
