Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Service Technician role located in Salem. The Service Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on rental equipment, including boom lifts and scissor lifts. The role includes inspecting equipment for safety and functionality, ensuring timely repairs, and maintaining accurate service records. Additional responsibilities include working closely with the operations team to ensure equipment readiness and assisting with the delivery and setup of equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Mechanical and technical skills, including equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and record-keeping
- Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to maintenance procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with team members
- Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments
- Prior experience working with heavy equipment or a similar role is preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in mechanical repair are a plus
