Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Technician role based in Odisha / MP & Guwahati Region.. The Service Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on construction and mining equipment, including compressors, compactors, excavators, loaders, and related machinery. The role involves conducting inspections, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, replacing parts, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The Service Technician will maintain service records, follow manufacturer guidelines, and coordinate with supervisors and customers to plan and complete service tasks. The role may also include occasional field visits, adherence to safety protocols, and support for installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience servicing heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems used in construction and mining equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and service documentation.
- Familiarity with basic diagnostic tools, measuring instruments, and standard workshop equipment.
- Attention to safety procedures and compliance with workplace safety regulations.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
- Relevant technical qualification or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- Prior experience in equipment servicing in construction, mining, or related sectors is an advantage.
