Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Service Technician. The Service Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing products, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, and conducting field service visits as needed. Additional responsibilities include assisting customers with queries and providing quality support to ensure satisfaction with the company's solutions.
What You Will Do
Repairs
- Diagnose and repair faults on electric scooters, e-bikes, electric skateboards, and other PEVs
- Replace and fix parts including motors, batteries, controllers, brakes, tyres, bearings, and wiring
- Do basic soldering and electrical repairs
- Test every vehicle before handing it back to the customer
Stock and Workshop
- Inspect all incoming stock and spare parts on arrival to confirm correct items, right quantities, and good condition before shelving
- Keep parts stock accurate and report low stock to the manager
- Record all repair details for every job
- Keep the workbench and tools clean and organised
Customers
- Receive vehicles and explain to customers what will be checked
- Keep customers updated if a repair is taking longer than expected
- Handle warranty repairs and follow the supplier process for replacement parts
What We Are Looking For
Must have:
- 0-2 years of hands-on experience repairing electric vehicles, e-bikes, electric scooters, or similar electrical equipment
- Good understanding of DC electrical systems, batteries, and motors
- Comfortable using a multimeter and basic diagnostic tools
- Basic soldering and wiring skills
Good to have:
- Trade certificate in electrotechnology, automotive electrical, or a related field
