Job Summary
The Service Technician will support daily IT operations, including installing and troubleshooting computers, laptops, printers, networks, access control systems, and managing IT inventory. The role ensures smooth functioning of systems and provides quick support to end‑users.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support
- Fix issues with laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
- Solve software and hardware problems for users.
- Troubleshoot basic network and SD‑WAN connectivity issues.
- Handle system errors and provide solutions.
System Setup
- Install Windows/Mac OS and required applications.
- Perform OS imaging and re‑imaging of laptops/desktops.
- Join systems to the domain and ensure security settings.
Vendor Coordination
- Raise and track service tickets on Dell/OEM portals.
- Manage warranty claims, repairs, and part replacements.
Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain IT inventory, access cards, and equipment records.
- Assign assets to employees and track them properly.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate stock needs.
Access Control
- Create, activate, deactivate, and manage employee access cards.
- Troubleshoot access control devices.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience with Windows OS (8/10/11)
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365
- Hardware troubleshooting: laptops, desktops, printers
- OS imaging/re‑imaging (Windows; basic Mac)
- Basic knowledge of networking and SD‑WAN
- Experience using ITSM ticketing tools
- Basic PowerShell/scripting knowledge
- Understanding of PC operations and data communication
