Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Service Technician responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment systems. The candidate should be technically sound and willing to travel for site work.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of:
- Water Treatment Plants (WTP)
- Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems
- Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)
- Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP)
- Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Systems
- Iron Removal Plants
- Fluoride Removal Plants
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance of treatment plants.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
- Service pumps, chlorination systems, filters, valves, and related equipment.
- Maintain service reports and installation documentation.
- Provide technical support and customer training.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Relevant technical certifications are desirable.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in installation and maintenance of water treatment systems.
- Experience in WTP, STP, ETP, RO, and ZLD plants is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in the same field will be given preference.
Skills Required
- Technical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of pumps, filters, piping, and water treatment equipment.
- Ability to read P&ID drawings and technical layouts.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Company Preference
Candidates with prior experience in the Water Treatment Industry, especially in WTP, STP, ETP, RO, ZLD, Iron Removal, and Fluoride Removal Plants, will be given preference. Applicants with exposure to project execution, sales, or service operations in the Eastern Region will have an added advantage.
