Our Cook Services vertical includes home cooks, speciality chefs, and Maharaj, designed to bring reliability, flexibility, and professional service standards to Indian homes through a structured platform experience.
We are currently strengthening our Kolkata operations and are looking for a high-ownership operator who can build and manage cook supply while ensuring customer bookings convert and get fulfilled smoothly.
Role Overview
As Service Supervisor – Cook Services, you will own the end-to-end execution pipeline of the cook services category in your assigned clusters:
Supply creation → lead conversion support → cook deployment → service continuity
You will work closely with customers, cooks, and internal operations to ensure:
· fast onboarding of reliable cooks
· higher conversion of incoming customer enquiries
· zero service disruption post-booking
· strong retention of both cooks and customers
This role is ideal for candidates from Hotel Management, Catering Operations, Kitchen Supervision, or Hospitality Operations who enjoy building something on the ground rather than managing from a desk.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cook Supply Creation & Onboarding
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of:
· home cooks
· speciality cooks
· Maharaj
Responsibilities include:
· identifying cooks across residential clusters
· conducting basic skill and hygiene checks
· verifying background and reliability
· explaining service expectations and customer behaviour standards
· onboarding cooks onto the UnoTasker workflow
Success metric:
Strong, reliable, and replacement-ready cook pool across assigned zones
2. Customer Lead Conversion Support
This role directly supports revenue.
You will:
· speak with interested customers
· understand their food preferences and timing needs
· recommend the right cook profile
· coordinate cook trials where required
· help convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
Success metric:
Higher enquiry-to-booking conversion rate
3. Cook Assignment & Booking Fulfilment
You will ensure every confirmed booking gets the right cook quickly.
Responsibilities:
· matching cooks to customer requirements
· coordinating availability and shift timings
· ensuring first-day service success
· arranging replacements where needed
· preventing service gaps
Success metric:
High fulfilment rate with minimal cancellations
4. Service Continuity & Escalation Handling
Cook services are relationship-based and continuity-sensitive.
You will:
· manage last-minute cancellations
· arrange backup cooks
· handle service complaints
· coordinate quick resolution with customers
· maintain trust on both sides
Success metric:
Low disruption and high repeat usage
5. Cook Quality & Retention Management
You will act as the primary operational contact for cooks.
Responsibilities:
· monitoring customer feedback
· improving behaviour and hygiene standards
· reinforcing service expectations
· supporting long-term cook engagement with the platform
Success metric:
Consistent service quality + stable cook retention
