Software Engineer II
The GTS GDAS ServiceNow team provides ServiceNow technology support to Deloitte Global and Member Firms. We’re hiring a ServiceNow Senior Analyst who will act as a subject-matter expert across multiple ServiceNow implementations, driving ITIL-aligned process over ServiceNow.
Work you'll do
As a Software Engineer II on the GTS GDAS ServiceNow team, you will be responsible for:
- Design, configure, customize, and deploy ServiceNow solutions for new and existing implementations
- Build and maintain workflows, reports, data loads, and other platform artifacts across the platform
- Implement integrations with third-party systems and external platforms and support solution delivery from requirements through handover
- Perform regression testing, resolve defects, and maintain platform administration, release management, source control, and configuration management
- Prepare technical documentation, unit test cases, runbooks, and training materials while supporting stakeholders across implementation and enhancement activities
The team
The GTS GDAS ServiceNow team supports Deloitte Global and Member Firms by designing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions that enable scalable, efficient technology operations. The team works across implementations, enhancements, integrations, and platform support activities to help deliver ITIL-aligned services and consistent user experiences. This role collaborates with architects, delivery teams, and stakeholders to build solutions that support business needs and platform standards.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- 4-6 years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience configuring and developing ServiceNow solutions for implementations, enhancements, and upgrades
- Experience with JavaScript, HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Extensible Markup Language (XML), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), and Ajax
- Experience with ServiceNow server-side and client-side scripting, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, User Interface (UI) Actions, UI Policies, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
- Experience with Representational State Transfer (REST) and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) web services integrations
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
Preferred:
- Experience with Service Portal, UI Builder, and Workspace configuration
- Experience working on medium to large ServiceNow implementations
- Experience with Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), Platform Analytics, integrations, or scoped applications
- Experience with software development life cycle practices and Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) delivery models
- Understanding of Domain Separation and ISQM standards
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist or Certified Application Developer certification
