Roles And Responsibilities
- **ServiceNow Development:**
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules to meet business requirements.
- Customize ServiceNow out-of-the-box functionalities and develop new features to enhance user experience and system performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into actionable technical specifications.
- **Integrate with Manage Engine:**
- Oversee the integration of ServiceNow with Manage Engine and other third-party applications to streamline IT service management processes.
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs where necessary to ensure seamless data flow between ServiceNow and Manage Engine.
- **Incident, Problem, and Change Management:**
- Implement and support incident, problem, and change management processes within ServiceNow to ensure efficient service operations.
- Monitor and manage incidents and service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- **Configuration and Administration:**
- Maintain the ServiceNow environment, performing regular updates, troubleshooting issues, and overseeing configuration changes.
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions to ensure security and compliance within the ServiceNow platform.
- **Documentation and Reporting:**
- Create and maintain documentation, including architecture, designs, configuration, and processes related to ServiceNow deployments.
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights into service performance, facilitate data-driven decision-making, and ensure transparency.
- **Training and Support:**
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to effectively use ServiceNow tools and features.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving user-reported issues related to ServiceNow.
- **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with IT operations, development teams, and other stakeholders to align ServiceNow functionalities with organizational objectives.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, providing input and feedback to enhance collaboration within the team.
- **Continuous Improvement:**
- Proactively identify areas for improvement within ServiceNow processes and functionalities, suggesting enhancements to drive efficiency and efficacy.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new features in ServiceNow and related technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including scripting and creating custom applications.
- Familiarity with Manage Engine and its integration capabilities.
