Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Service Manager role located in Chennai. The Service Manager will oversee daily operations in the service department, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery while maintaining high safety standards. Responsibilities include managing service teams, allocating resources, coordinating with customers, ensuring equipment readiness, and maintaining compliance with company policies and safety regulations. The role requires strategic planning, problem-solving, and ensuring client satisfaction through quality service execution.
Qualifications
- Team management and leadership skills to effectively oversee service teams
- Strong organizational, resource allocation, and strategic planning abilities
- Experience in equipment maintenance and repair, with knowledge of crane systems being a plus
- Proficiency in customer relationship management and service excellence
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on safety
- Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with teams and clients
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety protocols within industrial solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role within the industrial equipment sector is an asset
