Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. – Electrical)
Experience:
- Minimum 7 to 9 years of hands-on experience in service, erection, and commissioning and Refurbishments of crane of overhead cranes or material handling equipment.
- Strong exposure to both electrical and mechanical systems related to industrial cranes. Prior experience in team leadership, site coordination, or project execution roles is preferred

Key Responsibilities
A. Service Management Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor the pan-India service team, including regional service engineers and site technicians.
- Plan and monitor daily and weekly service activities to ensure optimum utilization of manpower.
- Record, monitor, prioritize, and control all breakdown calls, service complaints, and warranty cases.
- Review root cause analysis (RCA) conducted by service engineers and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide technical direction, escalation support, and decision-making guidance to the service team.
- Coordinate and communicate recurring service, quality, and design-related issues with internal departments such as Design, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain.
- Ensure all service activities, breakdown reports, RCA documents, and closures are accurately recorded and closed in the ERP system.
- Review and approve detailed service and RCA reports before sharing with customers.
- Monitor service KPIs such as response time, closure time, repeat failures, and customer satisfaction levels.
- Support service cost control, warranty management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
B. Erection & Commissioning (E & C) Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and control erection and commissioning activities across multiple project sites in line with project priorities.
- Allocate and balance erection and commissioning manpower based on project schedules, site readiness, and workload.
- Lead site teams to ensure erection activities are executed efficiently, safely, and as per approved drawings and project scope.
- Identify, finalize, and manage subcontractors for activities such as rail alignment and welding, DSL installation, crane erection, and load testing.
- Coordinate with customers, project management, and internal teams to ensure site readiness, safety compliance, and smooth mobilization.
- Monitor progress of E&C activities through regular reviews, site feedback, and ERP reports.
- Ensure all erection and commissioning documentation, checklists, progress updates, and completion records are maintained in the ERP system.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, quality norms, statutory requirements, and project timelines.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, load trials, customer training, and final handover activities.
- Ensure proper closure of E&C activities including punch points, documentation handover, and customer sign-off.
- Lead and manage crane refurbishment, modernization, and upgradation projects, including scope finalization, technical evaluation, execution planning, and customer coordination.
- Coordinate inspection, assessment, and condition monitoring of existing cranes to identify refurbishment and retrofitting opportunities.
- Ensure refurbishment activities are executed safely, within agreed timelines and budgets, and as per applicable standards and customer requirements.
