We are excited to announce an opportunity with a leading India OEM Organization for the role of Service Engineer in the EV/Automobile service domain.
📍 Location: South India (Field Operations)
📄 Employment Type: Permanent (Direct Payroll of Organization)
🎯 Experience Required: 4–7 Years
🔧 About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Service Engineer to lead and support EV charger installation and after-sales service operations. The role involves managing field service teams, coordinating with dealers and technicians, ensuring smooth service delivery, and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day service activities at dealerships, workshops, and service centers
- Diagnose technical issues and support repair & maintenance activities
- Coordinate with technicians for timely service resolution
- Handle warranty claims and service documentation
- Address customer complaints and ensure strong customer experience
- Conduct/support technician and dealer training programs
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company service standards
- Prepare service reports and monitor performance metrics
- Collaborate with Sales, Production, Quality, and Purchase teams for service support
👤 Preferred Candidate Profile
- 4–7 years of experience in after-sales service (Automobile industry preferred)
- Experience in EV passenger vehicles will be an advantage
- Strong technical troubleshooting and customer handling skills
🎓 Education
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
