Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Service Manager role located in Mumbai. The Service Manager will oversee and manage the service operations, including scheduling and executing maintenance, repair, and calibration services for scientific equipment. Responsibilities will include leading a service team, monitoring customer service performance, ensuring compliance with service standards, maintaining inventory for repair parts, and offering technical support to customers. The Service Manager will also ensure timely reporting and communication with internal teams and stakeholders, while continually working on improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in equipment maintenance, repair, and calibration.
- Leadership and team management experience to oversee the service team effectively.
- Customer service and communication skills to build rapport with clients and address their needs.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting technical issues efficiently.
- Experience with inventory management and compliance with service quality standards is preferred.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools used in service management is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field is required.
- Prior experience in a similar service management position within the scientific or technical equipment industry is an advantage.
