Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for Service Engineers, based in the Greater Delhi Area with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves installing, commissioning, and servicing Craftsman Automation equipment and systems at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and providing on-site and remote technical support. Service Engineers will document service activities, prepare reports, and communicate clearly with customers and internal teams to coordinate repairs, spare parts, and follow-up actions. The role also includes supporting equipment upgrades, training customer personnel on proper operation and maintenance, and contributing feedback for product and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Field Service experience, including on-site installations, commissioning, and customer interaction.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for industrial equipment, with a focus on preventive and corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for collaborating with customers, service teams, and engineering staff.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
- Experience working with automotive components, special purpose machines, or industrial machinery is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings, service manuals, and use diagnostic tools and measuring instruments.
- Willingness to travel within the Greater Delhi Area and occasionally to other regions, with a focus on safety and compliance.
