Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Nasik. The Service Engineer will perform installation support, routine maintenance, and repair of aluminum and uPVC window and door systems at customer locations. Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, executing troubleshooting procedures, and providing timely field service to ensure proper performance and safety of products. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, documenting service activities, and offering technical guidance and basic training to customers and installers. The Service Engineer will also assist in quality feedback from the field, contribute to continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with company standards and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, structural, and functional issues in window and door installations.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site visits, customer interaction, and adherence to safety and quality procedures.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear reporting, customer updates, and collaboration with manufacturing and sales teams.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to provide guidance, resolve product-related concerns, and assist in installation best practices.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for preventive servicing, adjustments, and component replacement of window and door systems.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering discipline is preferred.
- Experience in fenestration, construction, or building materials industry is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use basic tools and measuring instruments, and work safely at heights when required.
- Proficiency in basic computer and mobile applications for reporting, documentation, and communication.
- Strong customer service orientation, reliability, and willingness to travel within the region as needed.
