Job Title: Service Engineer
Location: Kashipur
Reporting to: Service Manager, AS India
We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer with strong QCS/DCS background to support our customers and help grow our automation service business across India and Asia Pacific.
Job Description
This role combines hands-on service engineering tasks with proactive service activities, supporting our customers and contributing to our growth in the industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving service business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize QCS/DCS systems.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and performance checks.
- Provide technical support and customer training.
- Develop solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
- Work with internal teams to deliver service projects smoothly.
- Build strong customer relationships and identify new service needs.
- Support sales with proposals, cost estimates, and presentations.
- Track market trends and explore new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Energy Systems, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ automation experience in pulp & paper or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of process systems and maintenance.
- Skilled in diagnostics and performance optimization.
- Good communication, presentation, and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to travel extensively to meet customer and business needs.
