Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Service Engineer with hands-on experience in metallography sample preparation equipment and hardness testing instruments. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of sample preparation techniques, hardness testing principles, instrumentation, and equipment servicing.
The role involves installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, customer support, and AMC follow-up activities across India.
Key Responsibilities :
- Installation, commissioning, and servicing of metallography sample preparation equipment and hardness testers.
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration support, troubleshooting, and breakdown service activities.
- Provide technical support and application guidance related to sample preparation and hardness testing.
- Handle AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) follow-up, customer coordination, and service documentation.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations and user training at customer sites.
- Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts, consumables, and service planning.
- Maintain timely service reports and customer communication.
Preferred Qualification :
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation related engineering discipline.
- Experience working with material testing or metallography equipment manufacturers/distributors is preferred.
