Job Summary
Responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, calibration, maintenance, and servicing of instrumentation systems and gas analyzers at customer sites. Ensure timely technical support and customer satisfaction while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of instrumentation and gas analyzer at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and rectify issues related to field instruments, gas analyzers, PLC, SCADA, sensors, transmitters.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Calibration and testing of instruments as per standards and customer requirements.
- Attend customer complaints and provide technical support within committed timelines.
- Prepare service reports, calibration reports, and site visit documentation.
- Coordinate with production, design, and sales teams for technical support and spare requirements.
- Conduct inspection and health check-up of installed systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies during site work.
- Support AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) activities and customer training programs.
- Maintain service tools, testing equipment, and service records properly.
- Travel to customer locations for installation and service activities whenever required.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in field service operations, including on-site equipment installation, calibration, and support.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and address their technical inquiries.
- Experience in technical support, providing swift and reliable assistance to clients.
- Hands-on expertise in maintenance and repair of advanced instruments and equipment.
- Familiarity with gas measurement technologies such as TDLS and DOAS is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced technical environment.
- Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and automation systems.
- Understanding of PLC, SCADA, sensors, transmitters, pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
- Basic knowledge of calibration procedures and industrial safety practices.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and service documentation.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in:
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Electronics & Instrumentation
- Electrical & Electronics
- Mechatronics or related field
Experience
- 1–5 years in instrumentation service, maintenance, or automation industry.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.
